The Alder Inn South Lake Tahoe

Big size excellent value hotel with an ideal location really close to shops and the cafe on the corner and the Gondola. Fantastic service and good breakfasts.

Prime location, great food, welcoming staff. The room was cool enough and I loved wooden furniture. The breakfast had lots of options: cereal, pastries, fruit, scrambled eggs and cheese. Hotel outstanding customer service:)))

Everything was fine, perfect location pretty close to the Gondola, the staff were knowledgeable. Reasonably priced and brand-new room, the bathroom was excellent.

Hotel was immaculately clean, inexpensive, had exceptional location and staff. Large bedrooms and a tidy bathroom. Spectacular view, lovely balcony.

A hip new hotel in Lake Tahoe. Breakfast was light, plenty of pastries, fruit, eggs, sausages and cheese. The staff was very cordial and everything was wonderful, we had decent stay.

We loved our marvellous rooms, plus the staff was AFFABLE. Reasonably priced poolside bar. The pool area was clean too.

Located in the picturesque area, room is silent and well-kept. A cosy place to stay in Lake Tahoe.

The staff were approachable ; we had a fast check-in. The continental breakfast was superb, staff offered sausages, eggs, fruit, pastries and cheese. Unbeatable location, 5 minutes' walk to Benko Art Gallery.

The staff was nice, the beds were good, and the breakfast was hot! We had a king room with balcony, climate control and Wi-Fi. The downstairs bar was a plus. Excellent pool area too.

Everything was perfectly fine from the efficient service to the savoury food. Parks and mountains were close to the hotel, the staff were particularly attentive. The room was super, with sophisticated decor and free wireless internet access, air conditioner and microwave for our comfort.

We would be happy to recommend. You will be about a 10-minute drive from el dorado beach. Management was very accessible. A microwave, refrigerator and glassware are a nice touch...

It was a great hotel in South Lake Tahoe. The hostess is helpful! In fact, the free Wi-Fi was a cherry on top.

Wanted to explore South Lake Tahoe and this hotel was lovely base for doing it. A RELAXING stay during our weekend.

In general, the hotel was very clean. Many thanks to maid!

We thoroughly enjoyed it, its location and service. Easy walk to Heidi's Pancake House, where you can have lunch. We got extra bed, it was a nice touch.

There was free WiFi available. We liked the fact that we chose alder inn. Chimayo Catering is within short walking distance to the hotel.

Friendly stuff and a great location, for short stay. Blue angel cafe, set within 5 minutes' walk, was the best for dining. Even the Reno-Tahoe International airport was not so far.
